Florence is very expensive, over-priced for accommodation in my opinion. However, this B&B, at just over £90 per night, was good value for money compared to lots in Florence. The owner was a nice chap and provided us with advice on restaurants, as well as putting on a good quality continental breakfast in the morning and letting us leave our bags there after checkout.   One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! From a delicious included breakfast, to laundry facilities, free filtered water machine, and hot water for making tea etc - The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day.
