  Really clear, the room, the breakfast on the terrace. definitly all - It was all great - we arrived much earlier than the allowed booking time, but they let us leave our luggage there until the room was ready, and they made every effort to get our room ready quickly.   The staff was lovely. The hotel was beautifully kept and the rooms spotless. The rooms also had a modern security system and all modern amenities. The location is fabulous. My view was of the Duomo. And you step outside and turn to your left and you are in the plaza of the Duomo. It's a five minute walk to the Academia and five to the Uffizzi. If I ever make it back to Florence I would be sure to stay there again! - The best feature is the location! You walk out the door and BAM! there's the Duomo. Waking up to the bells was an experience I will never forget. Also, it is an easy walk from the train station as well as to the major Florence attractions. It made walking around in the cool evening enjoying the city very convenient. The hotel itself is very charming, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful place to stay!!!

  Central location. We could walk to all the sites. Apartment was large and well equipped. It was a relatively easy walk from the station with luggage.   This hotel is very unique. I believe it used to be another type of building & is attached to some others. It is right near the heart of the cathedrals & shopping district. My friend & I had made our reservations just a day before we came since we had arrived in Venice after a cruise & stayed there 1 night. It has an excellent breakfast (small but tasty - Hotel La Venere gets the most points for its prime location - literally a three-minute walk to the Duomo. The hotel room was clean and very quiet, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very polite and kind (although their English was quite poor, which made communication a bit hard at times). I would definitely stay here again, mainly due to the ease of getting to/from Florence's main attractions.
