We were greeted by the owners mother who was a true Italian nonna - very welcoming and lovely even though she didn't speak English. The owners not only provided her with medicine, but went out of their way to open the kitchen especially for us, and cooked a lovely dinner, as she was too unwell to leave the hotel. - Clean rooms. It is a genuine family-run simple hotel with a personal touch. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great with fresh fruit and homemade pastries, etc. The location was very convenient - you walk across a main road and then you are in the historic centre and a few minutes more walk to the lakeside. Highly recommended as great value for a budget hotel.
