  We stayed there for 2 weeks in the middle of june 2013. Excellent location. The beach is just a few steps from the hotel entrance. The beach is very clean, Angelo and his men are there all day,making sure everything is OK. The restaurant is right on the beach. This is the only beach I´ve ever been where I feel safe leaving my expensive camera and ... hva folk sier » other belongings on the beach chair while at lunch on one of the great nearby restaurants. The sea is very clear, great for snorkeling. Most of people - Superb! Splendid! Marvelous! Wonderful! Best-value-for-money hotel I have stayed at in a long-long time. The staff was fantastic: no matter what requests, desires, wishes we had they did everything to help us and were very-very kind. The hotel is in a very good shape, everything is fresh and new, including the furniture. Breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee: never have I had such a good hotel-breakfast-coffee as here.   The staff were fantastically helpful. They made phone calls to check restaurants and other hotels for us. The breakfast room was lovely, a sun room overlooking the sea. The choice was huge, everything was fresh (including the freshly squeezed juice) and organic. Our room was superb, full of antiques, lovely and warm (Sicily was an uncharacteris... hva folk sier » tic zero degrees while we were there) and very clean. - EXCELLENT in every sense of the word! The staff was like extended family, particularly giving us all the support after an accident which made us cancel the rest of our honeymoon!!! Truly a 3-star hotel with 6-star credentials.   Everything was perfect! The hotel is located in a calm area but close to the main street at the same time. There is a bus stop near the hotel for vising close towns. We had our room in a separate villa from the main building which buried in verdure. Staff is very friendly, particularly Claudia. Breakfast is commom.   we had a balkoni with a side-view and it was great because it was about 30m2 !! The swimmingpool was perfect and there was created a possibilty to get into the seawater between the lava-rocks, right near the hotel. - The staff was extremely helpful especially Elisa.
