  Hotel L'Orologio is located right in the thick of the action. The hotel is clean and looks brand spanking new! The bathroom is large and clean, while the hotel is kept nice and clean. A bit pricey but well wort - The decor - the "watch" theme of the hotel was very well executed and permeated all aspects of design, even down to the taps and mirrors. The location is ideal - a few minutes walk down the interesting streets and alley of central Florence. The room was cosy, the bed & linen first class. Buffet breakfast on the top floor (lifts available!) had a great view over Piazza Sant Maria Novella, and was plentiful.   Everything about this hotel was excellent - it is both close to the train station and the city centre, with a range of restaurants nearby ( helpful when you arrive at 22.00 !).
