By far the best hostel we've stayed at. Room was immaculately clean andspacious, there's a kitchen on each floor so there is no overcrowding.It's not a party place but it's very secure and comfortable. The stationis about a 10 minute walk, and the centre of town is easily reached byfoot. Highly recommended. It was really close to the train station, just a quick walk away. When we got there we were greated by a 24 hour front desk with staffed by very nice people. Our rooms were very nice, simple and clean.alle vurderinger »
Nicest Hostel I ever stayed in. Great beds, extremely helpful bilingual staff, even the common showers were clean and orderly. I would definitely come back. location close walk to santa maria station,staff extremely helpful,cheap price, big clean renovated rooms..would recommend to stay here..Having a kitchen and more than one bathroom that travelers could use. I like that the hostel is located close to the train station also. I love the kitchen facilities as it was a nice place to meet other travellers and also reduced the food costs whilst visiting Florence. Cafe across the road on corner serves breakfasts. location. Staff members were nice, place is pretty close to Florence's center. Guests can cook, but cooking tools are not so complete.There is a kitchen and a laundry room you can use. The location is good, close to city centre. Nicely furnished, cosy room; vicinity to main station and city centre. Price. We don´t like cause we didn´t realize that the rooms are with shared bathrooms.with relatively cheaper price at a not bad location..clear washroom+kitchen. Parking was pricey :25 Euro a day, but they come to the hotel and pick your car up and store it in a garage until you leave. The location could be better, but not bad overall.The front desk didn't have access to the internet, no internet connection inside the rooms and we couldn't make local phone calls from the rooms. The location was also nice!!. Hotel located on a busy road. Interior rooms are quite peaceful, though. About a 10 minute walk from the train station, and another 10 minutes to city sites. Of course, that's also why it was less expensive. It's in a up-and-coming neighborhood NW of the train station. Needs soundproofing for the street-side rooms (or bring earplugs). A little skimpy on the pots and flatware in the kitchen, but overall..just fine.The window-shade didnt't work, the room was therefore a bit too dark. It's about ten minutes the wrong side of the railroad station, so takes longer to get to the city center than we liked.the hotel opens out onto a busy road and so it was difficult to sleep with the noise late at night and early in the morning, maybe they could improve their sound proofing / insulation. Also they did not have a secure room to leave our luggage during the day after we had checked out. rooms were quite noisy on the street-side. Just that the floor was a little dirty. a little far from the railway station. There was too much noise from the street; you have to make sure that you discover the trick to cover the windows, because the curtains do not help...there's a handle:) otherwise, there's too much light. A little run down, could use some paint and better lights. The cost of parking is too much.Shared bathrooms: 2 per floor, door on 1 didn't lock so every one used the other which meant it got too dirty too fast - gross shower. if you need a very quiet room make sure to ask for that in advance-some rooms from the street side might be noisy at night. our room was perfect.No parking. The strange and specific smell in the room.the door bell that rang all the night:). I wish the light bulb of the kitchen was not burned out, and the microwave was not out of order.It was further from the train station then we thought, and the oppositeway from the centre of Florence. Traffic noise in rooms at front of building Rooms at the back have peace and quiet!. Noise from street traffic. To arrive to the hotel with a car is really hard. The street is pretty active, so you have to be used to traffic noise to sleep.It locates just beside a main street and there is too much noise during the night. The window and the wood window covering don`t help to block the noice too much. Hard time finding it. Drain in bathroom shower didn't work, making a lot of water all over the floor.Way too loud (room facing main street, window could not be closed properly); unable to get enough sleep. Noisy in th room when we stayed in the room and no bathroom.Too much noise from the road : it was horrible !! Impossible to sleep!!!. They can inform about the shared bathrooms in the description of the hotel, not only in the field for reservation.their blanket smell..
