The house is spotless and well-appointed. This is actually one place that looks better in person than in pictures. If you are looking for a bed & breakfast in Florence this is a great place. The rooms are clean and spacious, our with a private bath. Our room was so comfortable that I felt like I was staying with family for the weekend- not at a 'hotel'. Lovely comfortable sitting room so you're not confined to bedrooms as is so often the case in B&Bs.

Located in a beautiful villa just outside Florence. Parking was available (most of the time) in front of the villa.
The staff (we met only Franchesco) was helpful and nice. Guided us to any location we asked, gave a detailed explanation on what we should and shouldn't do.

The owner is awesome. Very helpfull. They have bikes for rental, free of

Good location on the hill above Florence, relatively easy to access the city centre by bus. Nice, comfortable room and good breakfast.

It's fair to say that parking in front of Casa di Mina is in fact not free. The truth is that it falls within the zonal system (i.e. it should be paid from 8am to 8pm) but as the hosts explained they have never seen any car being towed away so they do not recommend paying.
Location is not very close to the city center (25 min. walking distance) and at night a taxi is needed in your way back to Casa di Mina since there is no public transportation.
The distance from the city center is a little far, a nice 20 minute
walk, owners provided a bike which was very useful, highly recommend it.
