The location - we booked a higher priced room to get a view of the splendid piazza outside.
The room was simple but comfortable. Breakfast buffet extensive and good quality, excellent coffee from the adjacent bar. Very friendly staff.
But note they are closing for three months over the wintter and upgrading the whole hotel, so it may become 'luxury' rather than good quality three star, with higher prices to match

Everything! The room was very comfortable and clean; the breakfast was delicious and filling; the staff were charming and accommodating. But the BEST thing is how wonderful, warm,and welcoming the owners (Angela & Roberto) are, and how much they pamper their guests! The Hotel Broletto was the perfect stay for our visit to the beautiful city of Mantova!! We WILL be back!

An absolutely charming place with a very friendly staff (they speak very good English) and a great combination of ancient building with authentic furniture and a brand new air conditioners, showers, bathroom, etc. Everything just works and the place is perfect. Well organises, clean and comfortable. Service was excellent and the owner very helpful. Her restaurant suggestions were spot on. There was lots of space and the apartment had everything you might need in it. Although on booking it was suggester that use of the kitchen would cost a further 15 euros, it was immediately made clear that there would be no supplementary costs.
