The entirely air-conditioned Casa Gaia is located in a street with plenty of restaurants and cafés. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and comfortable rooms with a private bathroom. All rooms are simply decorated, fitted with tiled floors and wooden furnishings. Each comes with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. All en suite bathrooms are complete with toiletries and a hairdryer. Venice Marco Polo Airport is just a 10-minute drive from the Gaia guest accommodation. Porto Marghera harbour is 7 km away. A bus stop nearby has direct links with Mestre and Venice.

The man who greeted us there was great. We got in late at Marco Polo airport and we weren't entirely sure how to get there, but when we did he was standing outside of his hotel waiting for us and he called out my name when he saw to people with luggage. There was also a bus stop literally right outside of the hotel directly across the street that takes you immediately into Venice. Getting back was more difficult. We were there for only two days so we never really had time to figure it out exac.
alle vurderinger » Hotel is close to the airport Marco Polo. You can take a bus and will reach campalto in 10min. Venice can be reached by bus within 15 min from the Casa Gaia. The busstop is just infront of the Hotel. Make sure you buy a ticket in the tabaccheria next to the hotel. Besides if you are in Venice for a couple of days there are some nice offers for tickets, which you can use for buses and boats and which are valid for 2 or 3 days. The room in the Hotel is quite nice. You will find everything you nee. We really enjoyed our stay here, the owners were so lovely. The room was spacious set out lovely & very clean as was the bathroom! Even though it stated no breakfast we got a croissant & an array of tea & coffee stocked up each day! Angelo also got s fridge for us. Location was great, bus stops out front & takes 10mins to Venice & 15-20 to train also about 10 to airport. Great restaurant (Colors) up the rosd like 30sec walk they are cheap & very yummy!! also lovely staff. The room was cleaned everyday, and the manager was very friendly. The room was big for the price. The bathroom was great - even including a bidet. The bus was only 10-15 minutes to Venice for €1.30 - they came every 15 minutes. The room included a croissant and a variety of teas and coffees - including a dissolvable camomile tea to hep you sleep. Just next to the hotel is a restaurant, a shop and a pizza takeaway with a hand cooked eater - "Colours". Casa Gaia was the perfect location for visiting Venice. Owners were very friendly and the room was cleaned every day. Everything that you needed was just outside the door, the bus to and from Venice, the bus to the airport, the transport ticket seller and Places to eat. Lidl supermarket was a short walk away. The owner was very helpful with advice and suggestions. A very pleasing experience. It included breakfast, although it was only coffee and a croissant. The room was spacious by European standards for the price. It is a boutique hotel with only five rooms, and run by a very nice couple. Desk service is not always available. We needed a cab to the airport early in the morning, and we had to do it ourselves by going in the street and flagging one down, a scary experience.. Angelo was extremely kind! The rooms were very nice. The value is also great and its nice that there is a bus station right across the street that takes you to Venice. The restaurant "Colors" a few doors down is awesome!! Affordable, delicious food served by amazing people. They took the time to reserve a cab for my friends and I even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bus to Venice stopped directly across the street and you could buy tickets at the Tobacchi shop next door. It was a short ride into Venice. The day pass covers transportation on the waterbuses, including those hat take you to the island of Murano. Parking was free :) Overall, we loved our stay and would book there again. We enjoyed our stay. The room was immaculate and clean. Would rate this as 5 stars. Bus stop is just across the street which took the bus to get to St Marks Square. Easily convenient to stores, church and restaurants. Would highly recommend this place to others. The room rate was very reasonable in price. A really nice, comfortable hotel with large rooms and bathroom. Vary clean with private parking on site. Great place to stay with a bus stop right outside that takes you into Venice in 10 mins. No breakfast is available but there is a kettle in the room and a café nearby. I would stay again for sure. 1. The hotel manager was nice, he offered us the microwave upon our request, although it was not included in the room facilities. 2. the location was a bit away from Venice but not bad at all, there was a small restaurant and a mini market nearby, 3.Room was clean bedding was comfortable. 4. Casa Gaia was situated in Venezia Mestre, but there was a bus stop right at the property where you could take a bus to get to the main island. And the bus tickets were for sell on a small shop meters away from the property. The staff were an friendly old couple. A supermarket was nearby. The hotel is not too far away from Venice and the transportation to get there is cheap and fast. The room was clean and comfortable and had facilities that were unexpected for the price and description, such as a little something for breakfast. The person who received us was nice. Good location for Venice, large private car park with plenty of room to leave car after checking out until you depart later in the day. Large comfortable room with Air Con. Very convenient for bus stops for a 20 minute trip into the City Centre. No breakfast, but cafe nearby. Staying here was a pleasant surprise as we don t expected to be so good for what we ve payed.The bus stop outside of the hotel is a plus.Also it is very clean and comfortable with bath amentities and hairdryer also.The noise of the road was not such a huge problem for us. Perfect Italian restaurant 50 meters right from the hotel. Good place. Recommend. The hotel was clean and the owner was quite nice. The bus stop just accross the street is a big plus for those who want to discover Venice (which is in fact the main reason to book with Casa Gaia in Campalto). We stayed here because our flight arrived late and we needed a place to stay before taking the bus to Venice. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. The room was very clean and provided us with everything we needed. We liked everything - the host, the rooms, the location: bus stop is just across the hotel and it takes you only app.10-15 minutes to get to Venice and 10 minutes to get to the airport. Everything was perfect. the location is perfect for those who came by car to Venice. it is perfectly situated in front of the buss stop for Venice. It was a small quiet but comfortable place away from the hustle and bustle of Venice yet easily accessible by bus. The owner even gave us a drop to the airport on our way out. Very nice staff; the hotel is not located in the island of Venice but you can take a bus exactly in the front of the hotel to the island and it is a 10-15min journey. Staff. the room was nice and clean. very small bed, but i ordered a single's room. i stayed for one night only and unfortunately decided to cancel the rest of the nights i ordered (3 more nights) because of the noise from the street, the owner of the hotel was very nice and made the cancellation without any unnecessary trouble. It wasn't a big deal at all, but the only thing I have to say is that no one came into our room and gave us new towels/sheets during our 3 night stay. Also, thin walls, doesn't disturb your sleep, but you can hear things in the hallway pretty clearly if you're paying attention to them. Nothing we didn't like. The hotel is hard to find due to lack of signing. Look for "Zimmer Hotels" and on the wall they is a ceramic plaque saying "Casa Gaia". The bed and pillows were quite hard!!. No complaints at all. The only redeeming feature was it was close to the airport. It is in business district, with no entertainment. One has to take a bus or cab to get to the tourist Venice. No phone in the room, and wifi only intermittently available, although free. The location is outside of Venice so you'll need to utilize the efficient but confusing bus system. New visitor- perhaps have a bigger sign on the hotel name. Can easily be missed. 1. there is not a good visible signboard of hotel on the street.one may find difficult to locate it. It is not in exactly in Venice. Only difficulty was actually locating the B&B, as the sign is small and the name unreadable on approach. TomTom tells you when you're passing. Look out for Colours Hotel and Trattoria da Ugo. Casa Gaia is just next to the Trattoria on the Venice side, and the car park gate immediately past. If you have a look on Google Street View all becomes clear. Fot the price you get everything is great.I don t find a reason to pay a huge amount of money for staying in venice when you have choises like casa gaia.Really Clean comfortable convinient . Our windows overlooking the main street (Via Orlanda). The traffic can get pretty noisy. There is nothing not to like at this Hotel. None. Breakfast could be improved. I have nothing to dislike about the it. Shower room is a bit too small. The shower cabin is too little,TV not working. The traffic, bearable with the windows closed, but it would be impossible with them open. Ask for rear facing room. Not a big deal, but a bit noisy at night, because of the road in front of the place. There wasn't much to do around the hotel. nothing. the room is wet, and I got skin allergy!. No elevator. Pillows. No breakfast. noise from the street (stayed in room 5).
