Excellent location but the street in front of the hotel is one-way and mostly pedestrian. Our gps brought us to the wrong end of the street. We didn't know you could actually drive on it at first since it looked busy and too small. Room was clean. The room rate was good for this pricey little town. Breakfast was good but in a separate nearby building. Friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking is available for 13 Euros in a lot that is three blocks away.

I have stayed in Italy in many so-called 4 star hotels which had lesser quality. Downstairs in the street there is good restaurant with the same name, good italian cuisine. The receptionist lady was very nice and helpful. The room was okay, the place of breakfast was nice. It was kind to give discount there for meals and bier (Batzen Hausl). The city is beautiful, very liveable. Everything. The hotel was centrally located, reasonably priced, and staffed with extremely helpful and friendly people. Bolzano was a very good place to visit and a great base for visiting the Dolomites. Near the Bolzano Bozen Station, very convenient. The staffs are kind and friendly. The breakfast is good. I asked ahead of time if we could have a room on the back more quiet side of the hotel and was told "no problem". Our room was on the street side, above a restaurant and very noisy. Not good for people who would like to go to sleep before midnight. we didnt know there is no lift. our room was 5th flr from ground. my wife has knee desease a little so make her very hard to up and down.
