Staff were great. We were travelling with our dogs and we were provided with a room with a separate door directly to the car park which was very useful for us. The staff gave us a few recommendations for where to eat, and even offered to get us a ride to one of the better restaurants. Breakfast was arranged early for us (we had to leave by 7:30am)

The facilities are excellent. Staff are keenly interested in assisting guests. Excellent secure parking. Quiet location. Easily accessed. Comfortable. A great location for persons prepared to drive in Palermo. After a brief drive in Palermo, I parked my car to rely on public transit. B&B recommended a good nearby restaurant and arranged for a shuttle.

We stayed three nights in late May and felt it was an outstanding choice. Location is perfect, staff was very kind and accommodating (we were three generations of family age 4-72), the dinner at the hotel was fabulous, and the whole property was spotless. The bathrooms were modern in spite of the building being very historic; beds comfortable; views of the cathedral or the city were wonderful! A perfect introduction to a real Sicilian town.

This was truly the Duke's Palace! Three levels of luxury starting with a large bathroom with a spa shower, then up to a large bedroom with a king size bed, then up to a living room with sofa and chair and an outside patio. Huge breakfast on the patio, courteous and friendly staff- Daniele comes out to meet you and parks your car in his very tight garage; great location for shopping and sightseeing.

Perfect place to stay for a visit to the wonderful duomo in Monreale. Ten minutes (steep uphill) walk to Monreale where there are also good restaurants. Palermo is only about 3 miles away but the bus connections are not as simple as you might think. It involved three buses down to the port area and took about 45 minutes (buses not very frequent).

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Elvira's husband told us about Monreale. We enjoyed being able to walk up to have a drink and then eat and to visit the glorious cathedral. Loved the sweet grey cat who greeted us too. Breakfast was more than adequate and Elvira didn't mind our early start of 7.30 on a Sunday morning. We especially liked the cannoli. Staying at B&B Elvira was a fitting end to our wonderful 10-day trip of Sicily and we are sorry we did not have time to stay longer a
