The best asset of this hotel is the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very well-appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was typically continental, with a lot to choose from. It was served in a fabulous baroque dining room. A very nice young couple running this small hotel who really try hard to make you feel welcome. It is in a large garden setting in a very quiet location, as it is some distance from Ercolano--this is a big Plus. The hotel is at least a 15 min. drive from the hotel down to the site of Herculaneum, which is outstanding. -

Excellent service , attentive and helpful but not intrusive. Wonderful breakfast and dinner - huge selection and high quality. Large rooms and pleasant common areas with wireless connection everywhere. I will definitely be staying at the Montespina the next time I'm in Napoli.

The hotel was nicely located in order to visit the Vesuv and Pompei. All personell were extremly friendly and I felt very comfortable in the hotel. The swimming pool offered a nice cool down after driving and walking on the Vesuv on a very warm day. jr suite/superior room is not really a jr suite but has balcony on two sides so very nice views of Napoli bay and Vesuvius.
Restaurant very limited choice but had decent food. Wine choice also very limited but when you ask for a choice the manager has some different wines in the back.
Convenient to visit Pompei, Caserta, Ercolana etc.
