An established property with "soul". Less than perfect but with a homey atmosphere, very enjoyable altogether. Located in East Jerusalem, it gives you the feel for the "real" city away from politics and glitter. Lovely staff.

The service was professional and the tone personal, warm, and welcoming .
There was a generous complimentary happy hour on the balcony, sometimes in the breakfast area and in the lounge which was great as it gave us an opportunity to chat with fellow travellers and compare notes about what we had seen.

The hotel has beautiful architecture (built with old brick) and is in a great location for the old city (Jaffa Gate) and West Jerusalem. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Hotel is stylish and the services and staff are excellent.

We booked a standard room for 2 persons which smelled like cigar at arrival. With no problems we received a new slightly bigger room. The personnel is outstanding friendly and helpful (takes care of parking the car, bringing luggage to the room, serving generous drinks at the bar and any other questions or requests). The location of the hotel is in short walking distance to the old city. A taxi to the new city centre takes about 10 minutes.

I like the proximity to family in Armon Hanatsiv and the fact that it is so easy to get to the City Center by bus or even walk to Bet Lehem or Emeq.
It is also quieter than hotels in the city and has a great gym and health club. -
The room was large and very confortable. The food was absoutley fabulous.
