With a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi zone, the centrally located City Guest House is in the heart of Eilat's shopping area, just 10 minutes' walk from the beach. It is part of the Red Sea Hotel complex. In addition to private rooms, Guest House City offers dormitories for 4 to 7 people. Each one is air conditioned and features cable TV and a small sink and fridge. The bathroom features free toiletries. A large Israeli buffet breakfast is served at the Red Sea Hotel, where dinner is also served. There is also a synagogue nearby. Eilat Airport is less than 5 minutes away by taxi. Scuba diving and snorkelling activities in the Red Sea are just 10 minutes away on foot.

Had no real problems. The breakfast was also very good. Very central located. Our room was very basic but I used that only to sleep in. I loved my time here. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Good location. The room we got was better than we booked (with no price change). The breakfast was really good. THe hotel offer a few good perks like free chairs at the beach and discount at the bar for food at the beach. Not to far from the beach.
alle vurderinger » Breakfast was okay with the traditional bountiful Israeli breakfast. We did sleep well there without noise interruptions. Location. The breakfast. location (5mins walk to the beach and 3 to airport) breakfast was quite ok. Checking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The taxi drivers. I did not know that the hotel was so near to the airport. One block. Got charged nis20 by the taxi. The swimming pool was not always open. No hot water in the bathroom. We couldn't find the place, as it's called in fact the Red Sea Hotel. THe hotel needs some TLC like paint on the inside walls and small things like door handles that is loose. Some attention can make this a really nice hotel.WIFI only available in the small lobby. THe pool was a bonus but the pool is closed from 18:00 in the evening until 10:00 in the morning it could stay open longer as that is when you want to use it during hot summer evenings. The City Guest House was almost impossible to find--construction around the hotel made it almost impossible to access. On top of that, the name of the place was not City Guest House--but the Red Sea Hotel?!!! The hotel was hosting a large tour group of many people who were not considerate of others. They blocked entrance to breakfast, the lobby and even the traffic outside. Could not find the place until I called and got a response from Red Sea Hotel. Staff was not very friendly at the beginning, then improved some. The room and bathroom were poorly painted in white. The closet was small, with no hangers. My bed was broken, with old dirty mattresses, the sheets were clean. An area of the room had a leak from somewhere and the floor was wet. The wi-fi was accessible only in the lobby but not every day. dirty and stinky (room as well as personell) used and old no window in a room swimming pool was closed. Everything- absolutely horrendous, nothing appealing about this "guest house", was put in a room with no windows and surrounded by drunken 15-16 year olds who were shouting and being sick up the halls. Manager and staff did not want to know about our complaint, after 4 room changes in 2 nights couldn't wait to check out! Cant believe letsbookhotel.com have this so called hotel on their website. Absolute disgrace.
