Mr Meehan did go the extra mile for us by driving us twice to a good pub in the neighbourhood and once to the city centre - in his vintage cars! Room was clean, there was a large lounge, and upstairs a corner with tea-making facility adjacent to a balcony with splendid views of Galway Bay. The good wireless internet connection in the room was appreciated.
Lovely outlook from front bedroom - a sweeping view over the water. A really beautiful and comfortable large family home. Very well furnished with quality fittings. Excellent breakfast. I really loved the atmosphere there, you fell like you are at home, and the view to Galway bay was a great surprise.
The rooms are confortable, the private bathroom is clean and the front of the house has its particular beaty...
Owner was very good, very courteous, personally served excellent hot-breakfast, facility had luxurious expensive crockery and linen, free & safe car parking, quiet neighborhood, close to sea/ocean shore.
The couple who run the b&b are lovely and we liked the breakfast.
The views from the room at the front of the house were excellent and we felt welcomed into their home.

Summerville is located west of Galway and on the road to exploring Connemara. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and facility was well-managed.

There was no seating area as stated in our confirmation. We looked into other rooms which were much nicer than ours (with a proper double bed). The small TV was not working properly. No soap, no toiletries.Poor WiFi signal in room.
