Good pool. Good staff but is not a 4 star. The changing rooms in the pool area could do with more attention.The safety aspect of the grab rail into Jacuzzi should be assessed.Small Item, 4 Poster Bed to me it looked ugly and pointless. Lack of after hours snacks.... sandwiches, toasted etc. Room very stuffy, lack of air even with window left open fully!. The food did let the hotel down but not the service staff. Very quiet out of season - no atmosphere. didn't feel comfortable staying there upon being informed by the locals that there have been protests outside it due to the builders not being paid for its constrtuction. room had no cupboard and therefore little hanging space, no clock, little bench space in bathroom for personal toiletries.Very poor sound proofing. Not clean enough and no wardrobe. Where you had to hang clothes was a joke. This is not a 4 star hotel as is referred to on the website. There are no facilities in the room whatsoever. No haridryer, no tea/coffee facilites, not even a small fridge. Choice for breakfast was very poor. Room was small, no Tea or Coffee making facilaties. Bar service poor and dirty, lacked organisation. Breakfast service un organised. Restaurant expensive.

The Ivy Bar has a lively evening atmosphere with an extensive bar food menu from 18:00 until 21:00. There are also offer hot and cold daily specials, as well as fresh seafood from the Atlantic Ocean.
The chef creates traditional Irish cooking with a modern touch. This results in light and tasty old favourites, as well as new creations. Where possible, the best local ingredients are used.
An extensive wine list offers fine wines from all over the world.

The spa's fitness facility is a private members club offering a swimming pool, resistance gym, cardiovascular gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and cardio theatre. The facility also has a gleaming array of exercise equipment including treadmills, bikes, step machines, concept II rowers, a selection of free weights and resistance equipment. Personal training is available on a one-to-one basis and expert help from our trainers will help you achieve your fitness goals.

Cahersiveen is halfway round the renowned Ring of Kerry. This is the most scenically beautiful drive in Western Europe and lies at the foot of Beentee Mountain, on the River Fertha overlooking Valentia Harbour.
