This hotel is a bit outside the hectic center of Yogya, but has the advantage that there are no salesmen/becakdrivers immediately jumping at you once you leave the hotel. A taxi to Malioboro/train station is about 25K e/w and takes about 20 minutes - depending on the traffic. Most of the time a taxi is waiting in front of the hotel, if not the reception can organise this within minutes with their preferred taxi service company. During check in we were provided a welcome drink and a room upgrad.
