  Located in an old banana plantation, the Kelapa retreat is a hidden gem. Just 7 very spacious luxury villas (can't call this a room really!) are hidden from each other in the greenery. Nicely appointed in a modern Indonesian style with indoor and outdoor bathroom, it's probably the best hotel room we've ever stayed.   Great rooms, many with ocean views. very nice part of the world in Medewi, Bali. Quiet location and great many options to explore from hotel. Good surf breaks in walking distances north of here, but no surfing out in front of reef at hotel due to strong currents.Had a great stay here and will return with the family next time.
