  The bungalows are located at the south-west side of the island, a five minute bike ride away from the restaurants and shops. On walking distance (around 200 meters) there's a quiet beach, but the more popular beach is at the south-east corner of the island. The bungalows are clean and there's a large garden. Nice bungalows Quiet location - private but only a short easy walk to the harbour on the eastern part of the island and also to the southern coast where you can watch the sunset.   As a 40+ solo traveller I enjoyed the comforts provided by Kaluku Bungalow including the king bed, air conditioning, and private outdoor shower and toilet which was beautifully designed with natural slate and stone. There are only a handful of bungalows available at Kaluku and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the banana pancakes ... hva folk sier » for breakfast. The views from the shore in front were very calming and relaxing. The Kaluku bungalows are not budget or backpacker accommodation for G - The bungalow is clean and nice. It is on the beach as all hotels on Gili island are. The shower and toilet are under the sky;) Breakfast is simple but nice. It's better to go to other places to swim and lay on the beach as there is no actually beach in front of the hotel and the sea is not deep enough. The island is perfect, it's like paradise!

  We loved our time here, the resort is right on the beach and right by the restaurants. Gili Air is far quieter than Gili T so this is no problem at all as everything winds down by 11. The pool is divine and snorkelling is on your doorstep. The accommodation was unique and we enjoyed the 2 story villa.
