It's in the South extension area and close to the direct metro line to Hauz Khas village (lots of trendy restaurants) the Dilli Hart tourists markets, Qutab Minar and also for the city at Rajiv Chowk (Connaught Square) and the Fort. It is a small very friendly place, modern, spotless and feels more like a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast. With only 6 large well appointed rooms, balcony, tea making facilities, a good shower, lovely cosy doona and fairly good free wi fi everywhere. Very go.
alle vurderinger » A perfect homely environment. Rooms are sufficiently big, balcony is open, airy and gives a comfortable space to sit. Staff is friendly and helpful. Owner is a well read person who can help you with directions, reaching places etc. He mixed up well with the guests and had breakfast with us, clarified our doubts. Since he stays in the hotel and eats with the guests, he supervises & control the quality service right on the spot. Breakfast was good with Indian dishes. A total family environmen. If you want a soul-less 5 star look elsewhere, but if you are after a home away from home and want to stay in the center of Delhi - Red Maple is for you. Their care of guests is outstanding as the family live on the premises. Nothing is too much trouble and the chicken tikka masala is amazing! Thank you all for a lovely stay. I liked the staff and how they were extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the residential location which was quiet and away from mass tourists. I liked the room with all the comforts it had to offer. I had an excellent 3 night stay. I can't express enough how wonderful all the staff were. Spacious room with extremely comfortable beds, with modern finishings and nice large showers. The pictures are a very accurate reflection of the room you get. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, bringing up hairdryers, iron boards, helping us get a taxi or tuk tuk whenever we wanted. I liked the warm family welcome that we received, we felt as if we were part of the family and the owner and his staff couldn't do enough for us. The team could not do enough for us. The room was beautifully clean and modern and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!. Attentive staff who went the extra mile to see to our comfort, very clean and comfortable rooms with everything we needed. Nice food. The staff and owners are extremely friendly. The location is great too. All-in-all, a great place to stay at. -I liked the very friendly staff -cleaniness and service -location. Friendly staff, location: close to good shopping area - South Extension market. Breakfast: indian dishes. The only good things- clean and modern spot. clean, spacy & comfortable room. It is a bit difficult for taxi drivers from the airport to find, make sure you have the telephone number so they can get directions as no 49 Amrit Nagar appears not to exist but is actually around the corner. They'll try to charge you a lot extra otherwise. Once you know where it is it's easy to find and show them. -There is hard water in the bathroom, that makes it difficult to get foam from the soap. -A few days breakfast was buffet (unlimited) and for a few days it was on order-limited breakfast. It was good in both the ways but I think it should be buffet everyday. This is a home on a small side street, so taxi drivers will have a hard time finding it. Take a printout of the map they provide on their website to get there. Keep their number handy and get your driver to call for directions when he gets lost!. The location is not great for sight seeing as it is in the newer part of Delhi. Nothing!. Difficult to find and we were given unclear directions to the metro. Also the street is a bit busy at night. -poor choices for breakfast - non availability of dry clean service. Bedsheet had stains though it was clean and washed. Water in the shower room was not draining completely. The biggest disappointment of our entire stay in India. The room was in the lobby, opposite the tables where breakfast is served. Noisy and totally uninviting room overlooking the backyard. Also the price is quite high compared to what you get in quality and service spirit. location is far away from the centre and driver had diffcilties to spot it.
