Great location half a way between the station and the palace. Staff is nice and hands out clean towels/linen every day. Helpful in organizing trips to other cities by car. Next to a "western style" supermarket where you can buy all you need (for instance, bottled water, mosquito repellent etc.). The satellite TV in the room is very nice to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Nice environment, just opposite a fast food restaurant, very easy to get food, just 500m away, there are those famous masala dosai stalls.
