  The guesthouse was incredible!! We loved the location. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood that is conveniently located a block from the pool facilities. And the pool recreation center was incredible after spending the day hiking! The owners were wonderful to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. Definitely purchase the breakfast ~... hva folk sier » the owners put out a fabulous spread each morning that sustains you for most of the day! We absolutely highly recommend the lovely Guesthouse Árny! - Normal room, comfort place for breakfast. Only 4 rooms on the floor with shared bath, so no queue.

  My dad and I visited Iceland in October of 2006. We'd originally intended to just drive through the country and find accommodations when we felt like we needed them. It quicky became apparent that wasn't going to work. We needed a "home bas" and Dad was adamant that he didn't want to stay in Reykiavik so we journeyed out a bit. I can tell you how... hva folk sier » we got to this town but we pulled into the local hotel. They were expensive and full but gave us the name of this place and another. When we arrive - The location was a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, and away from any noise. The price was very reasonable for the 3-bed self-contained apartment. Breakfast cost extra, but was generous and had a good variety. Wi-fi was included and worked very well. The apartment was comfortable and spacious - good size bathroom, lounge, dining, kitchenett and bedroom. The lady was very lovely and helpful. There was on-site parking. I highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.

  Great location, close to Geysir and Gulfoss. Very charming house where you have everything you need. Friendly and helpful owner. It is good for both a short stay, as we did as well as for a longer stay with kids. Sauna, 2 pools with hot and warm water were amazing.
