  This was the best place we stayed. It's absolutely amazing - the guesthouse is immaculate, only a year old. The beds are so comfortable, the room is simple and homey. The couple who own the guesthouse are the most friendly people we met in Iceland, the gentleman who owns the place is so kind and genuine. They have so much pride in their guesthouse... hva folk sier » and have a nice breakfast in the morning. We stayed two nights, and I was sad to leave, it was the best overnight experience we've had anyplace!! Clo - A fantastic place to stay. The owner was an extremely friendly and helpful gentleman, and could not have helped us more. After we arrived, he showed us our room, then took the time to sit down with us and chat about our plans, and gave us recommendations on the best routes to drive and where to eat dinner etc. The room itself was great - it was modern, clean, and comfortable.   Room was enormous. Hotel seems to be mostly used by bus tour groups. We ate late to avoid the crowds, though had to ask for some food to be re-stocked. Recommend the pizzas from shop at the rear of the hotel. - location excellent size of room and good shower helpful staff clean room fresh watermelon at breakfast

  The apartments were very clean, modern and spacious. It was an incredible deal compared to everything else in Iceland - the Golden Circle Apartments were a great bang for our buck. We loved them!
