- Cottages are in nice wooded area.
- Cozy cabin sleeps up to 4 but probably better for 2 people due to luggage space needed.

We stayed just one night in very cozy and quaint cabin. As we were arriving the front desk staff (I think the owners) let us know that outside we could currently see the northern lights. From the field right there they were visible, they then suggested a place to drive to (about 10 minutes away) to escape the light pollution of Selfoss and see them even better. It was truly a highlight of the trip. When we returned, they had filled up one of the two hot tubs for us, which we relaxed in unde

We stayed in one of the rooms in the annexe which are really small cabins. The room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony where you could sit outside. The farm has a good restaurant with the added interest of a view of the cows n the barn. -

The guesthouse was incredible!! We loved the location. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood that is conveniently located a block from the pool facilities. And the pool recreation center was incredible after spending the day hiking! The owners were wonderful to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. Definitely purchase the breakfast ~

Room was enormous. Hotel seems to be mostly used by bus tour groups. We ate late to avoid the crowds, though had to ask for some food to be re-stocked. Recommend the pizzas from shop at the rear of the hotel. -

We have two rooms when two families travelling together. One family with yough couple and one family with older child. This was the best place we have booked in our 7 nights in Iceland. The landlord was funny and he prepared a very good breakfast with waffles and fish based food.He was a nice company. The location was a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, and away from any noise. The price was very reasonable for the 3-bed self-contained apartment. Breakfast cost extra, but was generous and had a good variety. Wi-fi was included and worked very well. The apartment was comfortable and spacious - good size bathroom, lounge, dining, kitchenett and bedroom. The lady was very lovely and helpful. There was on-site parking. I highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.

Hotel Manager Jon and staff made sure that we were comfortable. The
food choice and preparation for us was awesome since we were the only
couple that evening having dinner. The hotel is in winter operation,

nearby. Gave a very informative talk on the geological activity in the

It was such an amazing stay! The house feels so homey. it is beautifully built and decorated, with many thoughtful details. It was by far the most memorable place we stayed at in Iceland. The couple who owns it is very nice and kind. The wife cooked us a tasteful breakfast even though we were the only guests staying there that night. This is definitely a great choice for travelers!

We were in what looked like brand new rooms at Hotel Katla Hofdabrekka. The location is very convenient to Vik and many outdoor activities along the southern coast of Iceland. We ran into a problem with something we wanted to do and the hotel staff was fabulous in helping us to find a solution -- a local personal tour guide. Very, very nice accomodations.
