The cottages have the 1 bath per room. The cottages were rustic but warmand comfortable. Were great after 12 hours of hiking. There is also ashuttle to the airport at specific times. - It was just our first night in Iceland and was the best begining: comfortable and excellent staff

Excellent place to start (or end) your trip. Host met us in airport and within 5 minutes we were at the guesthouse. Facilities are good and room is enough big. Also there are a lot of photos of host, old newspapers (unfortunatly only on Icelandic), books and photobooks about nature both on Icelandic and English. There is atmosphere of old ho

Owner did get us at the airport, seemed scary at first place but is actually really helpful and friendly. He lives in the house next to the guesthouse. Rooms are big enough, decoration is typically islandish. Breakfast was ok and there is a kitchen we can use. Bathroom was ok.

We will rate correctly this guesthouse. Why ? Because we were lucky to be upgraded for free in the four stars hotel just across the street.
So every thing was clean, we had a private bathroom, a nice bedroom, etc. ...
The breakfast buffet looks really nice, unfortunately we had to take our plane and didn't try the breakfast.

It is located a few kilometers away from the airport. -
Staff were extremely helpful in helping me sort out a few traveling troubles. They kindly printed my boarding pass, a schedule of shuttles to the Hahn airport, and loaned me an alarm clock as both my watch and mobile phone were out of commission. I made my flight thanks to their help.
