  The owner (the man) was very friendly (knows German and Hungarian, his wife knows English+.) It was VERY clean! The bedding smelled freshly washed. We slept in the 4-person unit that's in the tower. It had 2 stories, the top with 2 single beds, and the lower with 1 double bed. We had access to a refrigerator. The location is excellent. Tokaj is a... hva folk sier » neat little town and is a short walk from this panzio. We drove from here to see some of the castles and vineyards in the area. We really enjoyed it. - We received a warm welcome from our landlord, and the guesthouse is just at the end of this small town. His wife, who speaks English, was away, but he speaks good German. He recommended one of the many wine houses for a tasting, and he also arranged for us to visit a barrel maker in his small factory.

  Very helpful staff, and moderately good English speaker, which helped. The restaurant she recommended was very good and again a nice value. The rooms were very clean, pleasant, well accommodated and a very reasonable value. It was a 14 minute walk into town, which was acceptable.   A big YES for this place. Location could not be better, the view from the room was awsome: panorama to the castle and cathedral. Rooms are extremly clead and nice furbished. Staff is very kind and attentive, they pay attention also to small details. A plus: I forgot my beloved jacket in the room and they are resending it to me free of charge.
