I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Ferienhaus Apartmanház Zalánki in Eger, Hungary. Eger, a city of 57, 000 people, abounds with historical and natural attractions. A bus ride from Budapest (Stadion Metro station) to Eger takes only two hours. I spent two days in a a nice, spacious and clean suite with a veranda overlooking the northern part of the city surrounded by hills. While Eger's central area crowded with locals and tourists filled me with liveliness and excitement, this pi.

Need a car to access but in a very upscale neighborhood high above the city. The host is a charming gentleman who speaks perfect English and serves you wine from his own vineyard which is very good. Apt has everything you could need and lots of room. I hated to leave and would love to return. Spacious accommodation with two ensuites. Lovely spacious balcony with great views over Eger. Christian, our host, was very helpful, welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast, at a cost of 5 Euros, was served directly by our host and consisted of a wonderful array of hot and cold dishes. Nothing was too much trouble, and he even briefed us fully on the sights of Eger with directions, a local map and information about how much things would cost. Wow! Absolutely the best experience we ever had while traveling. The place is very comfortable, extremly clean, close to the city and has a beautiful terrace with a view to the city. Krizstian is awesome! Gave us a lot of great tips and made our visit to Eger unforgetable. We will definitly come back again. The property is absolutely perfect. The owner is a very nice person and give good advices. Nothing. There was nothing at all that we didn't like. However, we were in the loft apartment and the steep stairs would be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. we had to leave at the end of our holiday. Az hogy nem maradtunk Egerben több ideig!
