We stayed in the Benczur Apartment. The location is absolutely wonderful, right next to parks, the zoo, the hot springs, the art museum, and if you enjoy walking you can get to the Danube, and even Buda Castle. Otherwise the Metros are all close by as well. It is a nice homely apartment, it is great if you have kids too, it has plenty of space and a nice little kitchen for use. Overall a nice place to stay and affordable, in a great neighborhood!.
alle vurderinger » The Benczur u. apartment was fascinatingly appropriate for my needs: equipped with all the appliances one might need (it is big enough for four people), it is perfectly located in a prestigious area - no noise, close to public transport as well as on walking distance to many important spots in downtown. I warmly recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Budapest either for a short weekend trip or for a longer period of time. The landlord was very responsive and kind enough to make us a gift (and he even changed the usual bottle of wine because some friends of mine did not drink alcohol!). It's clean, close to downtown with a lot of public transportation (bus/tramway/subway). Owner very helpful. Apartment is nice, with "antics" furnitures, a lot of space, kitchen well equiped, nearby subway and tram and walking distance from city center. Lively area outside but quite inside the apartment. Very friendly and knowledgeable host. Close to the subway and tourist attractions. Prices in that area of the city are ok. The apartment was clean and spacious, and had all the needed home appliances. Janos is a very nice and enthusiastic and superb owner. We rented the apartment on Benczur street and it's very nice, clean and comfy with lovely balcony. We enjoyed it a lot and highly recommend it. We were staying at the apartment on Andrassy avenue, it was very nice, perfect for our stay. Very close to the city centre, metro station was 1 min away from the apartment. it was also very clean. in one word: excellent!! price quality ratio unbeatable! and the landlord is extremely nice and gives really good tips about the city! I recommend 100 times!. Location very close to metro, trams, railway station. Wide range of bars and restaurants nearby offering local and foreign cuisine. Character of building. Amazing value for money and very central location. I like that it was a flat. The tv was simply for decoration since the remotes did not work, (this didn't bother us though since we are not big tv watchers). The internet was a little sketchy though, slow and stopped working periodically. Only one minor reamrk: The shower let water drowling under the glass door...That's the only negative point I've found after 5 min :o). no parking. Boiler-heated water: there was not enough hot water left for a third person to shower, unless we kept our shower time shorter than usual. Nothing. Nothing, we would recommend it. I really have nothing to mention here... No air conditioning. It did not have all the facilities of a normal hotel. The shower was hand held. It felt like I borrowed someone's home for the week end, which definitely has it charms but not something I am used to.
