The rooms were very spacious and clean. As we were the only guests it was very silent and peacefull. Downside was that the owner is not present, so in case you needed something. you had to wait till the next morning or call. The setting is really nice, but also a bit remote. You need a car to get to any restaurant.

This is one of the nicest places we stayed in Greece. Despite speaking no English at all the hosts (parents of the owners who were looking after the place for low season) could not have been more friendly or welcoming. All the facilities are modern and new. When we needed something translated the owners were called and we talked to them on the phone. We had the tower room at the top and it was wonderful with windows looking out all sides.

The village of Kalivryta is way off the "tourist path", but it is set in the mountains with beautiful views. The hotel was located beside a gas station, which helped in always finding it easy. I suggest a GPS for anyone wanting to travel by car around Greece!!
