The setting in an orange and olive grove in the hills outside Nafplio is spectacular.
The homemade marmalades, breads, and fresh juice make every breakfast fantastic.
Large common lounging area with a bar, couches, and wifi.
The owners arranged for us to tour a local (but world-famous) winery -- a great experience.
It is an easy drive from Athens and a good base from which to explore the Peloponnese region.
Nafplio's old city area provides great food and some good shopping choices.

Most of all I liked the hotel itself is very nice and friendly staff. A great view. For people who prefer a quiet holiday place is just wonderful. We rented a car from Athens and get to the hotel (about 4 hours - 270 km.) Managed to see different landscapes of Greece. The township Elia is conveniently located in relation to recreation Pelopponesa.

Alas resort is in an excellent location. The water (sea) was warm, clear, clean, and very easy to get to. The facilities are all very nice, and very clean. Breakfast buffet is good. The bed was very comfortable. They spent extra on the hotel. And you can see the quality.
It is a smaller resort, and the staff remembers who you are, and greet you by name.
They are professional, courteous, and helpful.
August gets booked up for several weeks. Book early for August. We will go back.

Hotel with beautiful design you would not expect in a p,ace the size of Sparta. Relatively but very well equipped rooms. My husband and I have stayed here 6 times before, and we were pleased overall. Now, with the recent renovations modernizing the rooms, we were even more pleased. It's classy, peaceful, and perfectly located in Sparta. We will continue to stay here every time we visit relatives in Sparta.
