The rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful, and the restaraunts were very good. It was within walking distance of the site, but it was a long hill to climb to get back to the hotel. - Probably one of our very best hotel experience in Greece: clean, easy to park, friendly and efficient staff, very good food, very good value for money !

The medieval aura that was surrounding the hotel was truly amazing.
At the same time, the feel of luxury and hospitality was there
throughout our stay, from the minor details in the room, up to the

The Mani Peninsula is rural and beautiful and well away from the normal holiday locations. Citta dei Nicliani is an enchanting retreat run by one caring family who really do understand the meaning of making the stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble and mother, father, son and daughter all speak very good english. Breakfast is unbelievably good - you'll surely take a photograph. Would we ever go back - you bet! Pretty much everything! Views were stunning, rooms extremely comfortable, had a great nights sleep every night. Shower was fabulous as well. Breakfast was fantastic, the Mani bread is SO good and is home made by the grandmother I believe. The staff are very friendly and informative. The father and son made us very welcome. The Olympion Asty was a fantastic experience! The rooms were sparkling clean every day, the pool was perfect, we were in it all day long every day. And the food! It was excellent, as was the delicious breakfast.

The hotel has a pretty setting, on top of a hill above Old Olympia. The large swimming pool has great views (but not over Olympia btw) and is a marvellous place to wind down after some serious archaeology.
The personnel is very friendly and speaks good English.
The rooms are in separate buildings, a bit like a typical US motel, with only ground floor rooms. They are quiet, large and clean.

We were welcomed by anastasia, lovely receptionist who went that extra mile to make us feel at home. The hotel is new however you can see that it will soon be dated as some of the fittings were already broken. The hotel has access to a lovely beach and has a big swimming pool.

Breakfast untill 11.30 was the best option for us. Excellent food quality, everything was home made. Very good service. Dolby surround music system in the rooms was a wonderfull surprise for us, excellent facility.
