Although Santorini pretty much has amazing views anywhere you go, the views from the Villas were special because it allowed a unique perspective from the main parts of the island. Staying in Akrotiri is a must if you enjoy culture or history. Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

Staff was very helpful, picking us up to and from the airport and helping with our baggage. Breakfast was extensive and food from the restaurant at hotel was absolutely delicious and affordable. Room was comfortable and on the doorstep of one of my favourite beaches.

Loved our stay at Anassa. Made to feel like royalty. Was given choice of rooms upon arrival. Staff were amazing, hospitable and extremely accommodating. Our package was with a transfer, but due to some communication gap, we paid the limo. The lady at the reception next day asked us what we had paid, and without even our asking, she handed the cash back to us.

Mina is amazing! She was waiting for us at the airport, gave a lift to the hotel, welcomed us offering a drink while she was giving us map and information about the best places of the island.
