  The two storey maisonette we stayed in was amazing. Very well furnished and modern equipment. It has everything a family needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.   A really nice place for a relaxed vacation. Service is excellent, and the places really feels out of the way of regular tourism. A really charming "taberna" closeby serves really tasty food. The waitress/cook was a charming elderly woman (who doesn't speak english, but that was all the more fun). The view from the place is great. There is a small s... hva folk sier » hop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

  We picked the Crete to spend the end of our visit to Greece relaxing and enjoying the beach. The cove beaches and day beds were the reason we choose Knossos Beach Bungalows & Suites. Upon our arrival there was a glitch with our rooms but it was fixed and the rest of our stay was fine.
