  Makis Place was a great find. It's a family-run place. They are very friendly and accommodating. Our mid-morning arrival was not a problem.   The best thing with this hotel is without a doubt its excellent guest service. Anna, the owner (with her mom and husband) was so kind! She spoke french, which I enjoyed being a French Canadian. Anna showed me 3 rooms when I arrived and let me choose the one I preferred. The roo - The welcome from Anna was amazing! We were picked up from the airport, given a choice of rooms and advice on what to do in the area. They could not have been more lovely and were incredibly keen to help with any questions we had and went out of their way to make sure we had a fabulous holiday. The nearby beach was beautiful (if rather windy) and the pool (which was even closer) overlooked the sea.
