In Hotel Diakonia you get what you paid for. It is very decent 3* hotel, so don't expect breathtaking sea-view or fancy breakfast. It is conventiently located: 15 minutes drive from the center, 10 minutes drive from IKEA and near Ring road. Yet, hotel is in peacefull location, so you don't hear traffic noise. Staff is VERY polite and helpfull. -

excellent starting point for visiting the city. There are two buses that take you from the hotel and that you get downtown in 10 minutes

Room on 'No Smoking' floor with balcony giving side views through trees to the bay. Refurbished bathroom (shower / toilet / basin). Good wifi signal. Near bus stops (including 78 airport bus) and shops. Fridge in room. Convenient midway location for me as I would be visiting both the city (to north west) and Kalamaria (to south east). -

God frokost. Hyggelig personale. - The location is very good. We could walk around the center of Thessaloniki from this hotel. We want to saty again. Breakfast was really nice. - Fine hotel, right in the center of the city. Highly recommended. The room was great, the bed was one of the best I have ever used in a hotel!
