We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a big highlight. Very nicely done. Fantastic view. A great stay.
All the staff members were very friendly and accommodating, showing an interest in what plans we had. The location of the accommodation was excellent with a short walk to the town centre, bus station and restaurants and shopping.
Nil.
Stunning views Excellent, responsive and helpful staff. Convenient for town and buses/taxis to rest of island Cool rooms Food
Pool is a plunge pool say 4/5 metres - not really a swimming pool TV three channels in all, one British (BBC World news) which was very "snowy" - but who needs TV on holiday? No shower curtain/screen in our room - so kneel in bath or stand and wet rest of room Dangerously hot water; easily scalding for adults; very dangerous for small children.
People were very very nice....view was amazing... Food was excellent...
bathroom size! Access to the hotel
A truly very nice hotel, where we enjoyed a lot our stay. I have read the reviews before booking but honestly the reality was even better.. We have been upgraded with a very fair amount of money and Yowakim and Nicolas were amazing helpful people there! Loveliest breakfast with an outstanding view (specially if u are I the upper levels of the hotel) Amazingly located in Fira.
It is more an old monastery transformed to an hotel, so expect a domed rooms not a modern new style hotel, eventhough for me it was a plus!
We stayed at Aigialos in the Voreas house for one night in July, and wished we could have stayed for longer. The view from our balcony was stunning, the house itself was beautifully furnished in a traditional fashion, with two bedrooms, two (small) bathrooms, a kitchenette and a living area. We had our dinner and breakfast served on the verandah and couldn't have spent a more perfect last night in Greece. We overlooked the oldest church in Santorini and the house itself was part of the monastery, so if you are interested in the historical and cultural aspects of the island, this is a perfect place to really experience the atmosphere. The staff and service were excellent.
The only negative - a small point which didn't really detract from the experience - is that the walking track runs past the bedroom windows. Fortunately, being at the far end of Fira, it is not too busy, but we were woken a couple of times by some noisy groups.
Excellent service, location and absolutely amazing views. . Greek hospitality at its finest !
Best of all was the kitchen with many good ideas
