Great location off the main street so was quiet. Excellent view of the Acropolis. Nice roof top to sit & soak in the view. Close to Plaka area. It is a small boutique hotel that is conveniently located between Syntagma and Monastiraki square. It is right along the same street where the airport shuttle drops you off (walk along the street away from the Parliament about 3 blocks). The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.
