  Great price and free parking, within a stone's throw of Tegel airport. This turned out to be a fantastic place to spend my last night in Europe, as it was also very close to a U-bahn station with speedy access to Friedrichstraße. The staff were supremely helpful and friendly. Room was a good size with a nice desk, perfect for availing of the free ... hva folk sier » Wi-Fi. The in-room minibar was well-stocked and actually affordable. - Staff were superb, room was large and well furnished, as well as very clean. For my purposes, the location (just a block from an U-bahn station & an under 12-Euro taxi ride from Tegel) was perfect. Others may wish to be closer in, but with the fabulous reach and convenience of the Berlin transit system, Hotel de France is situated just fine. The on-site restaurant / bar is a nice bonus.

  So easy to get to tegel airport. Woman at counter was very nice. Accommodation was ideal for what I needed: place to crash on overnight layover. Clean single room (note that bathroom was shared with neighboring room, but there's a lock on it) with ample outlets and a small table with chair. I left a half hour before breakfast was supposed to start,... hva folk sier » but it was already ready so I got it anyway. - A nice clean hostel. Perfect for the budget. Traveller that wants a private room with bathroom and breakfast included. What more could you ask for :)
