  We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. The windows are easy to open and had blackout curtains. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful and the additional breakfast was well worth the price and had lots of va... hva folk sier » riety and nice touches (organic eggs from "happy chickens"). The location is great and lets you pop back to your room for a break during sightseeing. - Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

  Well having spent two nights in this hotel, one on the Saturday going to Berlin and one on the Friday coming home, all I can say is 'WOW". I thought that it would have been very difficult to improve on my first visit to this lovely hotel. But it was indeed better. But also, I made a comment about not having coffee in our room on our first visit. And sure enough, there was a brand sp - We loved Hotel Landhaud Knappmann. The hotel and staff was excellent. We traveled with our 11 month old son and they were very accommodating. The breakfast that is included with your room is something to see. The restaurant attached to the hotel is wonderful was well, there was no need for us to leave the hotel to find a place to eat. The hotel is wonderfully located down the street from a grocery store, bakery, And atm.
