  We stayed in a room with 2 bedrooms and a large family room with a small kitchen. The rooms were private with their own doors. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The owners were very helpful with directions and general questions. The hotel is close to the train station. Laundry is available at nearby Mittenwald. They are a lovely couple who go out of their way to make your stay very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide choice and plentiful. I would use this guesthouse again and would recommend it.

  This was a first class hotel. The room was beautifully decorated but a bit dimly lit. Everything was very clean. Breakfasts were outstanding--one could order freshly fried eggs, omelettes, bacon etc. the buffet featured lots of meat, cheeses, breads and fresh fruit.   This is one of the very nicest hotels I have stayed in in Europe. The staff were polite and helpful, the food great (champagne with breakfast on Sunday!) the facilities outstanding (indoor pool, sauna, steamroom, spa, etc.) and the location was divine: the alpine scenery was straight out of "Heidi".   We loved the quaint little town out of the city spotlights. The staff were so helpful and most spoke English. The restaurant was on site and excellent. The breakfasts were also very good. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable place to stay. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts I have had and I travel for work every week and stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. It also has a very family friendly.

  Loved this hotel. We have stayed in Garmish on many occasions and find this to be the best accommodation yet. A little more expensive but worth it. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly.
