I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the friendliness of the owner/staff to the attention to detail on making their guest comfortable. The only comment I would make is that the wireless internet was not accessible from the rear building where my room was located. I had to come down to the lobby to do some work which was a little inconvienent

The hotel is located at the end of a long winding road next to a small church. Rooms are surprisingly modern. Be sure to get a room with a balcony to take advantage of the vistas. The food is excellent. Many bicyclists make the climb for a beer or a slice of cake. Be sure to walk the hiking trail to the edge of the ridge for a "Sound of Music

The rooms were very big and clean! The view from the balcony with flowers, was great: the clear lake below (in which we swum several times) and the mountains behind it! The staff was very friendly. We had reserved two one-bed rooms, and were upgraded to lovely spacious rooms with incredible views of the castles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. I would love to come back to see the new facilities as well, although I hope it is as quaint as this older building is!

Our rooms were as clean and comfortable as any we have stayed in. Thestaff was wonderful, very accomodating. The resturant was excellent,including the service. The location was a little ways from munich butthe train was only a short walk from the hotel. Would definitely staythere again. - value for money and friendly staff
