Good location and a nice courtyard. I was scared at first because I had to call from out front with my cell but they answered straight away and it posed no problem. There was a nice little map showing nearby laudromats, markets, restaurants, etc. This was helpful but also necessary since their was no staff at any time to ask.

Just spent the first two days of our Honeymoon here in Berlin and stayed @ The Holiday Inn Alexanderplatz. After getting off the train and going in to a nearby tall hotel to ask for directions to The Holiday Inn, after the way I was treated by 3 members of staff of that hotel by just asking a simple question, it was pleasure to know that we had not booked to stay and that hotel and instead had opted for The Holiday Inn. This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area.
