Walking distance to many sites and conveniently near shopping mall with supermarkets, take out food but also many restaurants. Comments of earlier guests mentioned expensive parking. However it only costs 5 Euro per day as the information from the hotel states, you just need to arrange it with the owner.

Sentralt, rent, rimelig, godt ustyrt, trenger ikke alle vanlige hotellfasiliteter - I liked the stay at Checkpoint Inn because it felt like a home and not a hotel room. The apartments arelocated just next to Kohstrasse metrostation. May be just 30 minutes walking to Branderburg gates so it is very convinient to live there if you wan to see Berlin yourself.
We live on the first floor it is just absolutely perfect terrace with tje table outside the balcony door that must be absolutely perfect in May (we were in Nothember but anyway i appreciated it. 100% value for money

The hotel is cozy, comfortable and quiet. Nicely located in East Berlin, it's minutes away from Alexanderplatz, underground and some of the most famous Berlin monuments. Nothing to complain about here. Staff is superb. There's no breakfast at the hotel - my best advice here is to go to Alex restaurant (located in the bottom of the TV Tower), you can get buffet breakfast for 7 euros every day from 9 to 12. In the evening you can have dinner round around the corner in a couple of very nice german
