  The position was fantastic. S Bahn outside the door, yet only two blocks and you were over the ever at the first Museums . Trams outside the door also. Staff were more helpful and friendly than anywhere else, happy to make me a cup of tea late at night. Washing facilities, everything new, large room and bathroom. Plenty of lounge and outdoor court... hva folk sier » yard area. Breakfast for 5.90€ excellent value and very comprehensive and nice. Matti was extra helpful as was a female staff member with great Englis - Great location for exploring berlin, easy walk to all major site's and metro right outside front door. Place was very clean, room was a good size, had a good bathroom, was quiet and was very cheap for quality of rooms. Building also had a kitchen available to use and also free washing machine and dryer which is very handy. It's a mix of dorms and private hotel rooms (which i had) and i would stay here again when in Berlin.

  Good location and a nice courtyard. I was scared at first because I had to call from out front with my cell but they answered straight away and it posed no problem. There was a nice little map showing nearby laudromats, markets, restaurants, etc. This was helpful but also necessary since their was no staff at any time to ask.

In Mitte there are some great restaurants,cafes, and shopping. - The location is perfect. Mitte is a great area with lots of vintage stores, nice restaurants en great pubs. Within a couple of minutes you walk to the river Spree, which runs through the hart of the city. Big hotspots like Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Bundestag and Holocaust Denkmal are doable walking. I can recommend this hotel to anyone!

  Easy to walk to from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (about 20 mins walk). The room was clean and uncluttered in an appealing minimalist style.   I loved the interior of the rooms, but was especially fond of the decorating at the lounge areas and the cafe. The vibe was young and trendy and the atmosphere downstairs made you feel instantly welcome. It was very easy to meet nice people and hang out because of several natural hang-out-places.
