  The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, very close to the subway, and perhaps 15 minutes walk to the train station. The street is calm and full of restaurants and shops, though not loud or late open. It's situated close to a park and the Alsterlake. The hotel is in an attractive neighborhood and right opposite the Hallerstrasse subway station, which is one stop from the Dammtor regional train station (much nicer than the Hauptbahnhof main station in Hamburg). A complimentary glass of wine upon arrival was a nice surprise.

We were able to walk right into the city center in about 15 minutes, and another 5 minutes to the lake.   Location was great for the Schanze area nightlife, was nice hotel, large clean room and bathroom. - Very clean friendly hotel and very close to nightlife in Hamburg. I'd recommend the Fish Market on Sunday morning which was had live bands on from about 8am.
