Wonderful staff, great restaurants and bars, great food for room service, large room, clean room, comfortable beds. I was shocked for the low rate we paid how excellent this place was. 8 minute walk to the cathedral and train station was good too.

We thought that the standard of cleanliness and service of Sofitel was excellent and the food in the restaurant and tapas bar was also of high quality. My room had the best air-conditioning. It was very hot and humid in Koeln but I slept very well. Breakfast was good on the whole. Staff was very friendly at check-in. Location is superb right in the Hauptbahnhof.

One of the best places we have stayed in. Everything tops. Excellent service, clean, lots of amenities, and super location. We should have stayed there to travel to Aachen and Luxembourg and even Brussels! - This was a great hotel. The rooms very comfortable for the price and the hotel staff very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
