  The hotel is surprisingly posh, we didnt expect such a caliber when booking it. The staff is very polite, very helpful, and it is easily accessible through U-bahn and S-bahn. - The hotel was excellent and if I understood right, opened just a couple weeks ago. Not a great selection on the main street. But found plenty of great food two blocks behind the hotel. Also, I loved being in Prenzlauer Berg close to great shops, restaurants, etc. It is conveniently located to Alexanderplatz, but not too close that the Chaos from that comes near by. You can take the tram 3 stops or walk there. Beautiful light, comfortable studio! I wish I had an apt. like this in Berlin. :)

  Brand new hotel in excellent but calm location in Berlin- "Mitte", only 10 min. The staff are very helpful and very personable. When we checked in I told the reception gentleman that I needed a beer after a long drive and in less than 30 seconds I had a cold beer in my hand! I don't like a big breakfast meal, but Hotel I31 has an option for coffee and rolls for Euro 5 which is perfect for my wife and me. However, if you are interested in a big breakfast theirs did look exceptional with lots of options for meat
