Clean and friendly. There were new owners who had just taken over from the hotel up the road, but after the initial confusion it was very pleasent - - Very calm area (no noise, relaxing, good sleep)

We thought that the standard of cleanliness and service of Sofitel was excellent and the food in the restaurant and tapas bar was also of high quality. Most of the staff were very friendly&helpful. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

This was a great little hotel in the centre of the city. 3 mins to the Dom, 5 mins to the main station, 1 min to the shops. Great value for money. Lovely hotel staff. Suprisingly no nose from the streets. - good location,the cathedral,river rhine andmuseums all within walking distance.
