  Staff were friendly and helpful. Food excellent - The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant looked very good though we unfortunately had other plans that evening and thus had no chance to try it. Kaub itself is a pretty little town on the banks of the Rhine; it is worth wandering up to the castle or along part of the Rhine route (Rhein Steig... hva folk sier » ) as it is only from above that you can see how ancient the town really is.

  Ellen and Dirk are wonderful hosts who make your stay memorable. We had a room that included a sitting room, large bedroom and a very large bath. We overlooked one of the towns towers and the Rhine River. We also ate at the Bacharacher Hof restaurant twice and the food far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located between Mainz ... hva folk sier » and Koblenz and provides easy access to all the castles and sites along the middle Rhine. We highly recommend the Bacharacher Hof for your Rhine vacat - The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. The location was very convenient to the train station and was situated in a convenient location for shopping and sightseeing in the charming Rhine town. There are many wonderful sights in easy walking distance and it was also very close to the K-D ferry terminal where we embarked on a Rhine cruise. An amazing historic location all in all.

  The host was awesome, picked us up and returned us to the train station as the location is a bit of an uphill hike. he offered to give us rides at other times as well. very nice breakfast, wi-fi, TV, etc. The town of Bacharach is great and the B&B is is a nice walk (partly uphill) to the castle with superb views. - The room was large with i... hva folk sier » ts own bathroom, very nice a quite. The owner is very nice and welcoming. He picked us up from the train station and also dropped us off again the day we were leaving. He also serviced us a German breakfast each morning of our stay.
