Staff was very friendly and kind, they gave us lots of advices about what to see and where to go. The breakfast was very rich, with both salted and sweet food. The room was big and comfortable, it had a sink, two chairs, a small table and a big wardrobe. The common bathroom was often clean. The position is very practical for those who want to visit both Dusseldorf and other cities, since the hotel is close to the railway station and also to the centre of Dusseldorf. The U-bahn stop (Oststrasse).

I think if they would be able to make background music in breakfast area it will be perfect place to stay. The customer service was excellent. The breakfast was very good. Just the conduct of the other guests could result in a disturbed sleep, the room doors bang shut as well. I had fortunately visited the local brewery over the road so did not notice much that night. Public zones look a bit shabby. Because of the messe, the price is too high. The WiFi is not available in my room. Internet Wi-Fi was advertised for this guest house but was only available in the breakfast room. Tiny towels, no plug in bedroom basin to have a shave, no blanket, poor pillows (I guess these are German style). Shared toilet. Did not expect it initially. But it was very clean. Just a minor inconvenience compared to having your toilet inside the room. No wifi in rooms. Breakfast starts at 9:00, it was some late for me. the amount of stairs and no lift. there was no one to ask questions and help us we felt very deserted. had to go home early,as daughter in hospital.left two nights money but they took two more nights from our card no one to help with taxis to airport, left my tele. nos but no one contacted about the extra payments. felt very dissatisfied. would not recommend this place to anyone who is a little infirm as is my husband. no help from proprietor. I have bad experience for non cooperation of its handlers . Very bad menu for breakfast.
